In Canada, Jollibee is a popular fast-food chain with 13 stores located in Manitoba, Ontario, Alberta and Saskatchewan. The brand is part of the Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) and is expanding its presence in the country with the launch of a mobile kitchen in Hamilton, Ontario, and a new store in Winnipeg, Manitoba. JFC is also a major investor in Titan Dining LP, a private equity fund and the latest holding entity under the brand Tim Ho Wan (THW). The 15-meter mobile kitchen allows Jollibee to expand its presence in existing and new markets without the traditional overhead costs of opening a physical store.
The Mississauga and West Edmonton stores opened shortly after the Yonge Street store in downtown Toronto. Customers can enjoy their favorite dishes from the menu through pickup, takeout, and delivery via DoorDash. The mobile kitchen offers a limited menu such as original or spicy fried chicken, spaghetti and cake. Since its first location opened in 1990, Jollibee has become a popular destination for hungry shoppers in Toronto and the GTA.
The brand has also expanded to Vancouver with its first location there and more to come. With its prime location in one of the region's top shopping destinations, Jollibee fans from all areas of the city now have a convenient new option to enjoy their favorite menu items. The addition of two stores brings the total number of Jollibee stores in Canada to 16 and the brand's store count in North America to 62. Jollibee is the largest fast-food chain brand in the Philippines, with a Filipino network of more than 1,400 stores. In addition to dining indoors, customers can also enjoy their Jollibee on the go with a self-service option at the new restaurant.
The brand has partnered with DoorDash, an online food ordering platform, to launch the mobile kitchen in Hamilton, Ontario.
